If We Build It, They Will Come…

Did you know that the tourist industry is one of the most profitable industries worldwide? That explains why it’s one of the fastest growing. International travels to places like South Africa continue to show a steady increase. The PAL Project, or Project Africa Luau, is a California-based development company whose goal is to capitalize on this growth in the tourist industry by building the first African Culture Center in the Republic of Namibia, Africa!

This Himba woman and others like her welcome the opportunity to tell you about their culture and their people. There are eleven different tribes in the Republic of Namibia. Each will have the opportunity to tell their story at the African Culture Center.

What Is The African Culture Center?

The African Culture Center is a beautiful facility built on 10 acres (4 hectares) of land. Tourist visiting Africa will have the opportunity to come to the center and experience life in an African Village. There will be a series of huts on the property where guests can visit men and women from area tribes. Each night, they will demonstrate different activities, such as basket weaving or an African dance. Yes, guest are invited and encouraged to participate!

The highlight of the evening will be a live stage performance that guest can enjoy while they partake in a buffet dinner feast filled with native African foods. We are currently working with representatives from each of the eleven different tribes of Namibia. It’s a rare opportunity to meet and learn about the indigenous people of Africa in a fun, safe and entertaining environment!
