The integrated design of our aquaculture facilities will enable us to
control the flow of larvae from brood stocks, to fry, fingerlings, juveniles
then market size. This will also keep in check the bio-security of our
facilities. Our main cultured fish are black sea bass, summer/southern
flounder, red drum, yellow perch, killifish, and hybrid stripped bass.
We also have laboratories for natural food production, water quality monitoring
, and fish health management.
The water supply we use for our aquaculture facility comes from Bradford
Bay which is formed from the Atlantic Ocean inlets
of Wachapreague and Quinby at Parramore Island.
